Topic: Parental Controls: Changing who is a Parent

I have the Parental controls app on my phone and I seem to have been able to set a time limit for my son's and my daughter's switch.

When either my son or daughter enter the PIN for extending their time limit incorrectly, I get an email.

However, on the accounts.nintendo.site (which you can jump to from the app) my son is listed as the parent and only my daughter is listed as a child.

This may explain why I don't get monthly notifications regarding usage.

Am I even controlling My son's Switch or has he just pretended to need the PIN when extending hitherto? (I am also asking this question of Nintendo support).

If I become the parent would I be told when the limits are changed? I asked because I want to be able to supervise but not limit my son's Switch usage. That is to say
1) Get a monthly notification of use (I should get this when I become parent)
2) Get a message when the limit is changed (ideally to how much).

On the app on the top-right is a plus symbol.
If you click on that you get a dialog box, stating 'select a nintendo switch console'
If you can only see one in there, then you have control of only one switch.

This, however, is separate from parent / child accounts. You could do this to your own switch, or to a friend's (if you were feeling malicious).

Adding a child account to a parent account online is for the eShop, etc
