@erv: But that still won't solve the issue of selling consoles bundled with games that are unofficial. Think about it, if someone made a fake account and like bought games on the eshop and then decides to sell the system with that IP in mind so that the others can get the system at better prices, then it really doesn't matter at all. If anything, if anyone decides to sell the 3DS with the ambassador program, he/she gets more profit than Nintendo.

So Nintendo will still be stuck with that trading action because the console is needed to play the games and since the console itself if physical, there's no point for Nintendo to stick to digital only. And if again region-locking is added, it would further worsen than now because atleast now, you have physical copies. But if its only digital, they still would lose more money because of each version having fake accounts with more games in it.....which actually makes pirating games a joke really.
