Anybody playing this game at the moment? Impressions so far?
I downloaded it on release day and have only put about 6 hours into it so far, but really enjoying it! I think that they’ve really improved on the series previous installments. It still however feels very much like a mercenaries game.
The story has been much improved in this one and the characters have got a bit more about them to. The overall polish of the game feels better as well.
If anyone is on the fence about this game I would say get it. It cost me less than 10 quid to.

I don’t mean to bump my own thread but just to give an update (in case anyone cares lol).
I just completed mercenaries wings on easy mode. It took 15 hours and was a pretty good game.
I’m going to play through on the hard setting next as I found the easy mode too easy if I’m honest.
The story in this game was really good. Definitely worth a play through if you are a fan of the genre.

No massive differences. Just lots of little tweaks. The game feels better overall. Personally i preferred the story and characters in wings over the other games. Also little improvements in presentation and art style. Definitely not a million miles away from the previous ones though tbh.

@Bevinator Sorry to bring a thread back from long ago, but I recently finished one pathway with this game and am starting the new game plus hard mode to do the other pathway. I quite enjoy the series.

I'm at the final battle of the second pathway I believe. Playing on hard this time. Put about 30+ hours into both pathways. After that I am starting mercenaries blaze.
