Last Christmas my son started playing Fortnite on his Nintendo Switch Lite. He has a profile on there but it doesn't appear that profile was fully set up or linked to a full Epic Games account. I went to Epic Games dot com and used the Sign In with Nintendo account, I used the same login we use on his Nintendo and the same login that works online where I can see his account with mine as the adult, the problem is it asked me to create a user name and I'm obviously unable to input the one he has been playing under as it says that is already in use. So if I'm correct, if I were to redeem the VBucks card it wouldn't go to the profile he is actively playing under. I have zero idea what else to do. Any help is greatly appreciated!

@s4sambo Rocket Leauge is kind of the same deal. You can skip setting up an account and go straight to playing. But that leaves you in that limbo situation you're in now.
Since he didn't complete the setup/link to epic games, you might be creating a username FOR the game progress he currently has. But I could be wrong. Hence the bold font. I would try Epic Games Fortnite support. When I emailed Fortnite support a year or so ago, they got back to me in about 2.5 hours, which is respectable. Otherwise, it may be hit or miss getting an answer in here.
