Please can someone help???

My sons switch has been working fine for 18 months, he used on his TV in his room,
We have another dock downstairs so decided to bring it down on Christmas Day, since then, it won’t go on any TV or if it does it goes go on its for a few minutes/seconds & goes to a blank screen saying no signal?

I have tried x3 TVs, x2 docks, x3 HDMIs, x2 AC all official Nintendo.

Any ideas please?

Search Nintendo Support for "no image tv". Resetting the ac adapter is often the solution, and is very easy to do, in case you see that mentioned.

@Wiganmossy Hmmm. Sounds like you have to start ruling things things out. Try the other dock on that tv you're having trouble with. If that doesn't work, try a different HDMI port. Try a different hdmi cable.

I don't have any other ideas. There was someone a year or two ago, who found that the switch didn't work with all hdmi ports on their tv. When they changed hdmi ports, it worked.

I’ve now tried x4 TVs, x3 HDMIs, x2 AC all official Nintendo (minus TV)

All still not working, this happened with our old one, in the end we sent it into Nintendo they said it was working fine even though I never went on the TV, in the end we replaced with this new switch & it’s happened again

@Wiganmossy Are you sure its the switch? I just find it a little odd they said they found nothing wrong with it.

Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

(My friend code is SW-7322-1645-6323, please ask me before you use it)

You can try resetting the power (copied from google):

How to Perform a Hard Reset on a Nintendo Switch
With the system powered down, hold the power button until the console resets. This step can take up to 15 seconds. ...
Release the power button, then press it once to start the console like normal.
Your console should boot up without any issue.

@Wiganmossy At this point you need to contact Nintendo Support - there nothing much NL can do to help if this is hardware issue that Nintendo needs to address.
