Topic: IndieGogo mini-dock project SFANS a scam?

I've backed the somewhat notorious IndieGogo project SFANS. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but not anymore... They've already had some issues with the product design, but now I'm afraid I'll not get the product at all.

Have any of you backed this project and actually received an update or the product?

Am I allowed to give this a kick after more than a week?

I mean, they've reported on it here and other places, and people are receiving the product. Doesn't seem like a scam to me. Just an overly ambitious and very poorly thought out venture from some people who thought taking Electronics in high school was the same as running a full-scale production line and distribution center for high profile peripherals.

In other words, never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

Remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.

@JasmineDragon Thx for your reply. When I posted this thread the're was hardly any talk about actually receiving the product (besides some people from Singapore on the IndieGogo page, hard to tell if they were legit at that time). As you can see it was before the homepage post by NL. I was just wondering about the status and whether I could expect anything at all this far down the line, not at all complaining about a changed product whatsoever. I know there's a risk in backing such a product and I wouldn't do it if I would either need the product soon or couldn't spare the money if they wouldn't deliver.
