Stating to move to PC and for Switch to die out isn't someone supporting Nintendo in any fashion. Remember if NES hadn't come up in 1985's none of us would have the options we have now. Atari was the console to play during those times and PC games where starting out. One should advocate for a higher performance Switch rather then talk about Switch dying out. @R559 what does being here for any length of time - means almost nothing. It's comical when people talk about time and dates but forget Nintendo been around longer then one has been on this site as well.

He never said he wanted the Switch to die. "Wanting some Nintendo games on PC" =/= "Wanting Nintendo/Switch to die". Again, I agree it's something that's not remotely likely to happen, but it doesn't make him a troll (you throw that accusation around so much though, I'm beginning to wonder if you even know what it means).
I pointed out how long he's been a member to show you that he's not a troll. No troll would stick around a community for nearly 10 years. They'd either move on after the community learned to ignore them or get banned long before that.

whenever i see the use of dollar signs to replace the S in things liks Sony and Microsoft it gives me bad memories of the whole Gamefaqs Nintendo boards and the system wars stuff you would keep seeing on there.
though i would personally be okay with the switch getting its own version of the "new3ds" especially when you have games which have trouble maintaining 30fps or if it does end up being a full "switch 2 " i would hope its fully backwards compatible with the original.
for me the whole concern isnt that the switch isnt putting out visuals on par with the likes of sony and microsoft but more the power gap itself, being the widest its been, and i hope that third party releases will still end up viable in the future with minimal performance issues or resorting to being cloud exclusive.
hopefully if/when the chip shortage isn't so bad in the future we will see some kind of successor to the switch since i absolutely love the idea and there has been quite a few times in the past where nintendo has dome something great by refining a previous idea (Mario Galaxy 2, the 3ds, even the switch itself feels like the culmination of various ideas, which is also why im interested in botw2)
in short i love the switch concept and hope the next system keeps the "switching" concept.
Like a lot of people on here I've owned and played many gaming consoles, both from Nintendo and the other guys, across all the generations. I know that eventually Nintendo will have to introduce something new and I hope that when they do, it retains the general idea of the Switch. For me, the Switch is everything I ever wanted in a console. The ability to take the games off of the TV and play those exact same games in any location, with a variety of control methods at your disposal. I don't think I would want to give that up now that we've been given it. Not to mention the amount and variety of games on the E-shop. The idea behind the Switch is going to be hard to top.
