Topic: Can't buy anything on eshop/Nintendo's website

Currently I'm seemingly unable to buy anything on the Eshop as I keep getting the error code 2813-2470 saying that my card can't be used. When I try on Nintendo's website I get the error code 2813-9310. I've tried using Paypal and that doesn't work either so no clue what I'm meant to do.

Have you deleted you cc details and re-entered them, and also delinkef and relinked your PayPal?

Otherwise, just enter your details at checkout or use a gift card

@Rambler already deleted and re-entered my card and relinked my paypal and neither work.

Have you resolved? Same situation here on 2 accounts.
Seems weird not finding more info around the web.

@oldhouse I don't know if I ever see people resolve this. There's something about UK & EU and cards and the nintendo site. And that user Marka23 has never been active on the sight. You'll probably never hear from them even if you tag them, unfortunately.

Have you tried contacting the nintendo site's support? That's all I can recommend. Unless someone else here chimes in.

@WoomyNNYes I have some doubts about contacting Nintendo on this issue since I am buying from a different region than mine.
For now I have solved buying gift card, maybe in a month or so the situation will be unlocked on its own

@oldhouse Yeah, eshop regions only accept currency native to that region. Like, Japan eshop only accepts Yen. When anyone in the US, here, buys from the japan eshop, we're buying Japanese Yen eshop gift cards/redeem-codes from sites like playasia, ebay, or amazon.

@oldhouse Did you ever get this figured out? Same problem here. I've never had an issue buying from Argentina with a Canadian Credit card until this week. Also - I've gotten the different region error before when trying to buy from Europe, ,so I don't think it's about my CC region.

@Jeff2sayshi I just bought gift card and still have credit so I don't know if it works again. Nevertheless I saw an article last week about Nintendo blocking region jumping and removing payment methods from accounts once this happens; I have still yet to figure how this will affect my accounts.

@oldhouse If you can remember where you saw that article about Nintendo blocking region jumping, and you can share a link, I'd love to see it.
