Topic: Can a tempered glass screen protector left residues or damage the screen over time?

Yesterday I bought and put on the Switch a tempered glass screen protector. After 24 hours I docked it and played Zelda for 3 hours. When I took the console out from the dock there were some lines around the screen. I think that the heat of the console melted the adhesive of the screen protector on the sides of it.

Can this residues go through the plastic screen of the Switch if I keep using the console in docked mode? Should I take the screen protector off? I'm a little bit worried. Thanks.

I hope not cause im using one too. I got the LouieVattan of glass protectors so it better not or i will be furious.

I mean if you take it off its prone to scratch due to thw cheap plastic screen.
