Topic: Unable to type after a while of not clicking

Every time I make a post, I'm unable to continue typing after a bit until I click the text box again. Is there a way to fix this?

@HeavyMetalWario64DS I'm not quite sure what you mean... are you saying the textbox is losing focus? or in between different posts? And is this on the forum, or article comments? or both?

@antdickens I think @MarioLover92 and myself had this problem too. I noticed this on the forums, and while commenting on articles yesterday. I think it has to do with the ads changing on the site.

Example I could be typing, press space and the page goes down (as it usually would in a web browser). I usually have to click on the message box and continue typing. I notice this happens when the ads decide to change to a different one, the typing cursor disappears.

If this is the problem @HeavyMetalWario64DS is talking about, I had it too.

I think that this is the problem. Basically I'm typing something, then all of a sudden it my keystrokes stop registering, and I have to click the box again. It didn't do this now, but the ad was the same for the whole time, so it might have to do with ads.

@Sunsy @HeavyMetalWario64DS hmm... what browser are you using? It shouldn't be able to change focus when an ad is loading/changing, but obviously it sounds like it could be the issue. Is this a new thing? or has it always happened? Just because things with ads haven't really changed in a long time, making me think it might just be a bad ad.

@antdickens Firefox over here. It started a few months ago, I think in December.
