Apologies if this question has been posted before. I did a quick search and did not see a relevant topic.
As the title suggest, I am selling my 3DS in order to buy a 3DS XL. I am not doing a system transfer.
I am selling my 3DS along with the downloadable games on it. I am happy to include them because the buyer is paying for them.
So far I have:
1.) Removed my saved credit card details from the eshop.
2.) I deleted the friends codes in the friend's list.
3.) I am deleting all my letters in LetterBox (Swapnote).
4.) I am also deleting the save data for all the games so that the new owner can start the games with a clean slate.
Also, in the eshop there is an option to delete the account, but if I do so, the new owner will not be able to re-download the games he purchased from me which is already on the 3DS. Am I correct in my understanding regarding this.
can you delete your eshop account?
i dont think so.
you can only delete the link to your club-nintendo account.
When you go to the eshop and you go to Settings/Other you will find 2 different options.
1.) Club Nintendo Account - where you unlink you Club Nintendo account from your eshop account and
2.) Delete Account - where you actually delete your eshop account. It also tells you that all your funds in the account will be lost and that you will not be able to re-download your previously purchased games.
