Topic: PlayStation Store problems... suggestions?

I was torn on exactly where to post this, but this is the help/problems (and I see problems posted not involving NL itself), so I'll come here.

For about four days now, I've been trying to make a purchase at the PlayStation Store, to no avail. It started out saying my credit card information was incorrect. Even though I've made no changes since my last successful purchase in late October. So, I went to the online information page for my credit card account, and put the information in that way on my PS3 exactly, right down to capitalization. Then, I got an 80023102 error when I tried to make the purchase. I changed to a bank/debit card. That didn't work. When I go to Sony Entertainment Network's site and try to add wallet funds that way, It says credit card information is not valid, even though I've made sure everything matches my card accounts.

I called Sony, and their suggestions didn't work. I have no internet/network problems. They had no other suggestions, except getting a PlayStation card. I would simply get one with funds on it at the store, but I'd be one ticked off Brony if I paid $25-$30 dollars for one (and I only needed to add $5 for a PS mini), and it told me it couldn't add funds, or gave me another 80023102 error. So, I thought I'd go to my NL buddies here, see if you guys have any suggestions. Thank you for any help!

Just tried the purchase on my PSP, and this time get an 80551002 error. I find one of my all time favorite arcade games available, Ikari Warriors, then I can't get it. GRRRRRRRRR.

It happened to me too, which is one of the reasons I stopped using it. You may have to buy PSN cards at retailers

When you got the cards, did you have any of these problems getting PlayStation Store to accept the funds?

Went ahead and got a $20 PSN card. It did work, thankfully. Still more than a little ticked off by having this bizarre problem to begin with when there's never been a problem before.
