Topic: Online gaming via mobile tethering

I have an Android phone as my only way to get to the Internet and it works really well but I've been trying to find a way to use it in conjunction with my consoles in order to play online and so far I haven't found a way. I'm using mobile tethering (4G) which shares the connection to other devices and I can download updates and play games like Pokémon Shuffle which needs to download data but online play is pretty much impossible. I've been able to play a couple of 1 vs 1 matches on my 3DS and they haven't had much lag. I've also been able to get to a Mario Kart race with two other players and it worked flawlessly but after they left I couldn't find more people. The problem is that I can't find people. I've done some research and some say it's due to strict NAT and there seems to be no easy way to change it. I've also heard some people try weird setups like usb tethering to pc and then using ethernet cable to connect to Wii U. Some say it works but I'm still afraid to buy lan adapter and ethernet cable just to try it out.

The speed I get with speed test is 50 Mbps down, 20 up and ping 30 ms. It's much better than what I had when I was playing Splatoon online at my parent's house so that's not the problem. And I do have unlimited data plan so I can use my internet as much as I want to.

Does anyone have any clue? Someone who has found a way and is currently using mobile tethering to play online on 3DS and Wii U? Anyone who has any kind of idea how to work around it? Help would be appreciated.

It's its, not it's.
