Topic: I got permanently banned on Miiverse, and I need some help.

(I'm new to this website, so please excuse me if I'm in the wrong section ^_^")

Okay, so the other day, I totally flipped out over the update with console bans becoming more often and stuff like that. So I tried sending contact information (which, yes, I know, was very stupid) to my friends, but not directly. I used accents and hidden messages or codes that my friends and I use, and the admin were TICKED. Instead of deleting that one post that had all the stuff, they took down each and every post. So I deleted my NNID and made a new one, but it said I was "currently restricted" from using Miiverse. Does anyone know how long that is..?

Bans are normally 14 days, but it depends on the severity I would guess.
Maybe contact your local Nintendo people, they might be able to look into your Miiverse situation.

Ah, thank you. Last time I did that though they said they needed to see my birth certificate and stuff, and by that point I kind of freaked out, but I will look more into that, thanks!

A birth certificate?? That's extreme. I can understand a date of birth..but a certificate?? Crazy Ninty

And it's things like that which are the reason why Nintendo clamping down so hard.

Exaaactly. I only want to go on Miiverse because I have lots of friends on there..

They probably wanted your birth certificate to prove your age.
