Im sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. I just don't know where else to turn.
I've recently had trouble docking my switch. Im able to dock it perfectly in the dock my system came with. However, when trying any other Nintendo dock it doesn't work. It charges while docked, the screen goes black, but nothing shows on the TV. I've tried two docks and two different hdmi cables - though they were the same brand and type. I've tried connecting the cables in different order and still nothing works. Is there something im doing wrong?
Fear not, @TokyoRose, that should be easy to resolve, if you reset your AC adapter. Virtually everyone that's come here with this issue gets back on their way after resetting their AC adapter, which is easy. Disconnect & unplug things for 30 seconds, but see the directions below.
@WoomyNNYes wow! Thank you immensely! That seemed to do the trick. I was getting really worried that there was some internal issues with the switch. Luckily the solution was much simpler than I thought.
