NOW hold on. I don't want them to make a phone but what if they made an app
If they make an app then they don't have to worry about trying to compete with Apple and Samsung. You could go on Miiverse, Eshop, Nintendo Tvii and maybe an unquie feature only on the Nintendo Phone!
Plus it would be good marketing seeing how popular Smartphones are. So if Nintendo made an app they can use Samsung and Apple to their advantage and convince people with a smartphone to buy a Wii U and/or 3DS.

Let the war begin...

It's been under consideration at Nintendo for at least a couple years now, and yes, it will most likely happen.

The Nintendo app, when you open it, it's just their logo, nothing more, nothing less.

........Or it can be something to buy eShop games or Miiverse : P

I made Sheldon & Mr. Randoms back on Flipnote Hatena, now i'm a kangaroo mod that has a funko pop collection!

I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!

1.)A Nintendo eShop app that allows you to remotely download from your system when you purchase a game.
2.)Miiverse app
3.)Virtual Console app:You get to buy different games to play from systems like the Game Boy and it could connect to your Nintendo Network account so you can cross-buy GBA games from the Wii U.
