Uhh, how about because their customers want them? How about because it makes collecting the games you love more exciting and meaningful? How about because it would increase the marketability of their product? How about because it would show the market that cutting value isn't always the best business decision? How about because it was a real reason to encourage customers to buy new games rather than used? How about because then kids could have the great experience of drawing the darn pictures in them like I did?

Just look through this one for Secret of Mana and try to tell me it's not an awesome booklet. And remember these were standard components of $60 and $70 purchases.

@BabyYoda71 They did do digital manuals, but it was just pages of words. the only digital manuals I see them do is for you nes an snes game's.
