Ooh - it would also be nice if you could see the total number of comments easier - I'm quite intrigued as to how much I have posted in total, since my normal comments on articles haven't been as common recently (I've almost posted 1500 times there :S)
Post counts are one of the dreaded things in forums it seems. While I can see the novelty of it, it does tend to promote pointless posts from a select few that think having the biggest post count makes them the best. I think recognition for quality is better than recognition for quantity.
Well, couldn't we have something like the comments button in our profile? O ther people don't need to know our post count, but it would be nice to see all the posts I've made.
Actually, if you click Search under "Smart Forums" at the bottom of the forum's front page, you can search by author, which includes yourself or any other poster.
