Topic: will Dsiware be transfered to 3DSware

If they don't, they lose a digital customer forever.
They should've had it account based from the beginning.

I doubt I'm the only one that feels this way too.

your not, it is time nintendo starts to listen to us, we are the customers and we don't want to pay over and over again with all stupid restrictions!

However I know I will buy the 3DS but I will boycot the online store if nothing happens...

I WILL NOT be buying any more Nintendo products or online service or games until they say we can transfer our purchases to an account and use them as we wish. We paid for them, they are OUR games, and this is insane!!

I'll bet if they can't transfer DSi but announce 3DS Virtual Console no one will mind

The old games were released before my generation even started so i don't care too much anyways...
I like retro things like the sonic classic collection en Megaman collection thingy but I don't care too much about a Virtual Console on 3DS

I have a feeling the 3DS will institute an account system going forward to solve the issue for future systems, but there won't be any way (at least Ninty won't take the time/money to figure out a way) to make the system compatible with current gen consoles (DSi). I'm not buying any more DSiWare unless they announce a solution. I may keep buying stuff on the Wii Shop, since I may keep my Wii for GCN compatibility (tho, if GCN games are on Wii2...). Either way, they're definitely losing online sales from me. Hopefully devs realize this and are putting pressure on Nintendo to resolve this.

That's 3 people and counting...

Plus... the millions who will go online before buying a 3DS to see if you can transfer dsiware purchases (or their parents who do this) and realize you can't copy it over, they might opt for something else like an ipod touch or a PSP, etc.
