So action replay can supposedly mess up some people's games or save files...
Couldn't I just rent another copy of the game, acquire certain Pokemon (which Nintendo doesn't want us to have, those damn events...) use action replay and trade them over to myself?
Or is there a risk of something bad happening then too?
OK, so due to Nintendo failing with the GTS, I'm stuck with only one Johto starter - Cyndaquil. I've seen Totodile, obviously due to my rival, but no Chikorita. I've breeded with Ditto for a Cyndaquil egg (hatched), and am currently wondering if anyone would like to trade a Chikorita for it. Merci en avance, Nate EDIT: BTW, there is always a risk when using an Action Replay. I would think that it would not harm your game should you trade them in, however, you may end up ruining the game you rent. Then you'd have to pay for a new copy for whatever store it's from, should you get caught. I agree Nintendo is sucky with event pokémon, but the Action Replay is poorly developed too for the DS.
