Topic: (had no clue where else to put this)Want to finally beat Bowser's inside story(original DS version) for the first time

Quick heads-up I have reached the dark duo fight(you should know what I mean by 'dark duo' if you played the game) but never actually beat that fight. Any good tips for stat spreads and equipped items? I always buy max amount of healing items anyway so I doubt I need to be told to do that. I do also use save blocks whenever I get a new location story-wise, or if I level up in an area while grinding. I just really kind of need help with stat spreads, I usually focus on attack with mario and bowser and defense/healing with Luigi, is that good or nah? Any help would be appreciated.

Is there any attacks that you're having trouble on?

@Captain_Toad bowser's vacuum block, i'm fine with every other attack

When you try to eat fawful you can mash x and y together for double efficiency
