Howdy Nlifers!
I started 3ds with original 3ds back then at launch now i upgraded to an N3ds xl and i wanted to know if this NTFs module is worth it or just a gimmicky afterthought?
Sorry im an amiibo noob and have no clue about it! Is it just toys for kids to let them collect or do they have real value?
Or are they some sort of expensive payed "analog" haptic DLCs for several games?
Also sorry have no clue what games work with amiibo. Ill just tag my latest ones!
Amiibo are awesome little collectables that can unlock content in certain games. Whether or not they are "worth it" is completely personal. I love the way these figures look and love to display them. Unlocking content is a good bonus. They are worth it to me and my wife.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I own a select few of characters that have a personal importance to me, and as time goes on the build quality and paint jobs seem to have improved, so all the better. I don't even use them in their electronic capacity.
I have some that I bought since I liked the characters, and they are cheap merchandise compared to Nintendo's usual price (Toon Link, Sonic, Bayo amiibo if its ever released) and received a couple as a gift.
Buy some if you want them, but they aren't truly necessary for games.
