I have been playing on normal settings, I tried the bright one, but it was horrible.

Also, is it normal that pretty much every NPC wants to fuse the same kinstone? It's always that green one with an N-like pattern (the last one of the first row of this image).

I havn't noticed any pattern or something, guess there's just a lot of "N" like kindstones. (unless they're all randomized or something...) But yeah, like wariowoods said putting it on the Dark setting makes things a lot better...I can't explain it for some reason, lol

Just Hold Start and Select at the same time when you're on the 3DS Main Menu. You'l see the game's icon shake a bit. The resolution shall be adjusted properly. You won't have to worry about any color issues

Well, they're about as common as the rest of green kinstones.
I just found out the wonders of using white picolyte, it makes you find lots of kinstones on the grass, it's great.

I also found the dark setting to be nice to look at, though I don't see a big difference from the normal one.

Just wait'll you get up to the Clouds... EVERYONE wants to fuse kin stones up there! And I'm not kidding. lol

....I tried everything, but, that second book. I can't get it. :/

The one at the Mayor's cabin is supposed to be the third book you find. Anyway, look around outside the cabin. (and remember the note's advice)

I guess it's random, then. That's the way it was for me last time I played. I just checked two guides and they said the same order. They say the second book is "The Legend of the Picori", and the first is "A Hyrulean Bestiary".

Just finished the game again. Such a great adventure. ;3
My only problem is that like many zelda games it doesnt do much for a post-game. You just get placed right before defeating the final boss after finishing - which is fine for redoing it, but they could have thought it out a little better. :/
None the less it's still amazing.

Ok what's the deal with the people in Hyrule Town? First I noticed that all of them want the same stupid green kinstone, so I go out and about and nab a few of that same exact kinstone...come back, and now NONE of them want to fuse. WTF?! xD

Same here, I only have 13 kinstones left to fuse and suddendly noone wants to fuse stones!

I got to enter Anju's (chicken girl) house and got to her roof, everytime I talk the the cucco there she says something among the lines of "Oh noez the kinstone dissapeared! What will I do now?", I'm pretty sure I haven't fused kinstones with her (and she doesn't want to, either).

Yes that is normal.
I'm currently down to 9 kinstones - but some are only unlockable at a certain time in the game, so you may have missed out on some. I'm not fussed about that though, I'm not going to play the game making sure I get each one just in time. Just remember to check out all of the locations you wont usually go to - Melari's Mines?, random Minish Living in cracks in the ground? etc.

I need just another fusion to complete the kinstones. But noone wants to fuse stones with me anymore.
According to a guide, the kinstone fusion I need is the third one with Gina (the ghost), but she doesn't want to fuse...

Oh well it's not like I wanted that Tingle statue anyways... _{... Sniff}
