Hey all.
I bought a Wii U like 1 month ago (?) so I was busy with it. After a long time I touched my 3ds again. But since my little brother played with my 3ds he did manythings to my 3ds.. first of all he crea
ted a nintendo network ID. So I dont know the password for it. But thats no problem after all, since I can get a temporary password..BUT he also parental locked my 3ds. And I dont know the password to unlock it. So I went to the Nintendo Website to look how I can unlock it. It said: Go to write password and press "forgot"..Then press "forgot" again for the question. After that it said I would get a key sent to my email adress. But I didnt get one. Do I have to wait longer? But In my mailbox there are Keys from 20.Oct, but I dont know how I did that..

And another question: I got a nintendo network ID on my wii u now, but my 3ds has a different one, if I delete the one on my 3ds, can I use the one on my Wii u for my 3ds?

Thanks in Advance:)

A WU(Wii U) can share a NNID(Nintendo Network ID) w/ a 3ds. Sidenote: Since I use the same mii on both of those systems, updating my mii on one system(say, shirt color on my 3ds mii), will update my other system's mii, provided I log into Miiverse(possibly, but not definitely also e-Shop) on the system w/ the updated mii before I do on the other system.

As for the Lock N' Key business, all I can tell you is email Nintendo again. Maybe try again to send a key to your email? You might have to wait a day, or two. As for the 20th Oct key, maybe your little brother also sent for a key w/out realizing it? Or you did, & forgot. Lastly, maybe you have to wait some time in between unlock keys being sent to your email; like maybe once every 90 days. This is just speculation of possible answers, & I imagine the real answer is simply wait a day, or two for the unlock email. If that doesn't work, contact Nintendo.

First of all, thank you for replying.
I dont want to pretend dumb or something, but; So the steps I did, with getting a key sent to my Email, were correct? Because Im not really sure about that. I've tried doing the same thing like 3 times. And I wouldnt really mind contacting Nintendo, but I hope I dont have to make a call? Since im 14, I cant, so. And my mother wouldnt even dare to do that. So is there a way to contact them other than making a call? I mean like, emailing them.

Yes, you can email for tech question, I believe. The actual Nintendo.com website also has forums for people needing assistance, so if someone here on NLife doesn't have an answer, I'm sure someone on the Nintendo support forums would. To my knowledge, you will not have to make a phone call to Nintendo, as far as I'm aware of your problem.

I know now why I didnt get an Email.
So I took my brothers 3ds and looked in his settings. When I clicked "forgot key", there was the option to get a mail with a key in it. I didnt have that option though. Then I looked again, and my brother had an older ver., say, he didnt update his 3ds. I did. That means they removed that option, whatever their reason was. Cuz' I updated my brothers 3ds too after that and he lost the option too.
