I own a 2DS system and have downloaded for over € 500,- on games to my SD card. I know, with the licence you cannot swap cards with another system, but what about when my 2DS is broken and buy a new one. I don't want to spend another € 500,- for a bunch of games I already own. How do I solve this?

Providing the system is still able to, perform a system transfer to the new system, and then transfer the SD card over. Or call Nintendo chstomer service and you should be able to activate your NNID on the new console and then transfer the SD card over. You'll have to redownload games this way though.

Yes, I like bears.

Until Nintendo enters the 21st century, all you can do is contact Nintendo of America/Europe for your games to be transferred.

I really don't like the navigation bar of Nintendo Life continuously reappearing while browsing!!

And where can I find this data transfer button, link, section or whatever on my system?

the system transfer button is in the system settings under other settings on page 3 of it.
