I finally got my special edition copy of Corpse Party today. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, wondering if anyone else has gotten it.
The price was pretty high, and to be honest, I wasn't very impressed with the extras it came with. The two schoolgirl figures are really small, not very poseable and don't seem necessary and don't come with any accessories, just some interchangeable 'chibi' faces and different hand poses. The stands they come with are blue and pretty ugly too. Maybe my opinion of the figures will change after I play the game, but for now, I think I'd rather they included an art book or maybe some 'bloody' or more ghoulish accessories for the figures.
Game also comes with a soundtrack CD, but I'm not sure if it's something I'd ever listen to with headphones, or play in my car. There's nice ghoulish art on the CD case cover though - my kids saw the picture of the ghoulish girl on the back and now they want nothing at all to do with the game.
Anyone else get this game? I'm feeling brave and will probably give it a go tonight with headphones... will share my thoughts with all later.
I'm definitely willing to buy and play this game! It looks interesting, since Visual Novels mixed with horror elements could be awesome. I've been looking into playing this series so I may even start it in the near future
