Successfully traded a Swablu Egg... okay then.

They ain't doing the patch right. All the other patches were done via required update.. looks like this one they're just using the servers to patch which isn't working well. It's a bit wonky atm.

@MegaBeedrill what do you think about a HP grass Charmander get it hatch shiny if there a match?

I think solarbeam would be better reguardless. HP grass would only hit swampert, gastrodon, and quaqsire..

So, Learned a few things in a Battle today. Obviously I haven't been Battling much in ORAS or I would have learned this long since, but hey.

#1) Water Moves don't work AT ALL on Primal Groudon. Missed that Memo, almost lost me the match.

#2) Primal Reversions are automatic when Red/Blue Orb is held. Never tried it myself, they went straight into the PC.

#3) Primal Reversions don't count as "Megas", so you can still Mega Evolve a Pokémon with them.

So yeah, in this Battle I faced Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon, Mega Rayquazza, Arceus (who Crits me with Judgement), Victini, and Diancie...

Primal weather can't be changed either.. only cloud nine, delta stream, and other primal weather will take effect. (in other words, the abilities snow warning, sandstream, drought, and drizzle will fail.. and the moves sandstorm, sunny day, rain dance, and hail will fail.)

It does not block status moves (Heavy rain will not block will-o-wisp despite being a fire move)

One way to get Max Happiness is to play with the pokemon in pokemon amie

Yeah I figured it might have to do with Amie. I checked it out. Amie gives you "affection" not the same as "happiness" or so I've read...

@lordblackenhand Compound eyes causes thunder to almost never miss. However, the 100% paralysis is pure luck. If there was a way to get that for real then I would see it all the time on Battle Spot or while watching tournaments on Twitch.

That's what I figured, but this guy had a solid team and played it well. I've beat him before.
