I have a 7 and 5 year old kids with new 2ds's. The are more durable, easier to hold for kids, better battery life, and far cheaper with cheaper games compared to my switch. I would not buy a switch for each kid, but the 3ds line makes so much more sense, they love them. I would have been stoked to have one when I was a kid, it is the best of every handheld ninty has ever released and feels like the original Game Boy for the modern age.
