@JLPick I think Bower is supposed to be a conqueror, also, smash is not, never has been nor will be canon, they are just trophies/toys that come to life and take the personalities of those who they represent. At least to my knowledge, there aren't any references anywhere, and on any game, that smash is related to the main stories of other games so any abilities you might see on smash do not belong to the actual characters, just to their smash versions, so in short answer, no Peach wont fight back Bowser, that's why she needs Mario, although that means Toads are pretty useless if you ask me.
