Re: Sledgehammer Games Has a Definitive Answer on Call of Duty: WWII for Nintendo Switch - "No"

I would prefer that we get games that are built to the Switch's strengths rather than highlights it's weaknesses. An original Call of Duty developed from the ground up would work a lot better than trying to shrink down the PS4/Xbox version. Dare I say, I think EA might have the right idea but it remains to be seen whether it will pay off.

I avoided buying most of the Wii U's ports because of the half hearted nature of them, like EA's Wii U line-up. The ones I did buy, I bought only once they reached bargain bin status.

So far the majority of negativity seems to be forgetting that E3 is in June. So 5 months away and 3 months after the Switch launches. After that is Gamecom in August and the Tokyo Game Show in September. Obviously Nintendo isn't going to be at all of those shows but 3rd parties are.

Also, how many multi platform 3rd party games do people really expect to be released on the Switch 6 months before the Autumn/Winter release window most 3rd party games are released in? Rayman Legends showed us that if a 3rd party decides to release a game across multiple platforms, unless money has changed hands for timed exclusivity, they will wait and release all platforms at the same time. I doubt EA would have released FIFA18 on Switch 6 months early.
