The "loose" hinges are normal. The DSi XL is like this too. I think it's a design to keep the hinges from cracking from repeated opening and closings.

I'm not seeing Xevious or the video downloader in the eShop. Anybody getting the same thing?

I think most people want a 3DS, but they want a lower price, longer battery life, and more games.

How about Nintendo USA doing the same thing? I haven't been able to pick up a copy of the game yet...

I've been semi-following this game since it came out. Some things to watch out for:

1) No online play
2) No circle pad. D-pad only
3) Sleep mode doesn't work. If you close the lid, the game keeps on going.
4) 3-d seems tacked on.

They should save the red for special occasions.

Is it being free on the 3ds e-shop just speculation?

Anyone think the mini-games in the 3rd Layton were extremely difficult? I still have yet to beat them.

For the price ($40 for a portable game you play on a small screen) they need to make up for it by packing in more content and more stuff to unlock and not skimp on quality. They need to put more into their games if they want to get something out of us.

I haven't played DOA yet but the lack of animation in some of the cutscenes seemed like a shortcut out of work. I could be wrong and it could be stylistically appealing, but from looking at it through youtube videos it doesn't seem like it.

Will we be able to stand outside a Best Buy to get this content? I really don't want to walk in and out of there with a 3DS in my pocket. Employees will think I'm stealing something. :/

I read somewhere that there is no online play and movement is controlled with the d-pad and not the circle pad. I play SSIV with the circle pad since the d-pad is in an awkward spot.
