I've been following the development of Blazing Chrome for quite some time, as the dev is an acquaintance of mine. There's a lot to love in this game, and whiteout spoiling anything, the game also has some influences of at least three other great games (all of them were made by Capcom) in some sections.
The soundtrack is amazing, and I still remember when Danilo showed me how he was animating some robots.
He's making another game already. I can't say a lot about it yet, but if you guys liked his pixel art work, you'll need some kind of superglue to avoid letting your jaws dropping on the floor. And if you like Strider and Shinobi 3, I would tell you to keep an eye on Joymasher's next project.
Never cared about it too. I've tried the first one back in the day and it was enough for me. Despite what some people say, I do see Smash as a fighting game, and being one of those who would spend countless hours in the arcades, weekly, just to play some KoF, SF3, SamSho and Last Blade, I simply can't enjoy it for how bland it is.
The best thing Smash does, for me, is to keep updating old school characters and keeping them relevant for a newer audience.
@XCWarrior Tecmo Bowl is great, but Super Tecmo Bowl is a lot better (but it won't be available because licensing). The thing is, it's a great multiplayer game, but gets boring to play alone.
A lot of people on the Tecmo Bowl community (the guys who update the game every year) thought about playing TB online on the Switch, but the NSO doesn't even have a proper matchmaking system, so it's a little annoying to have to add a lot of people manually to try and setup a few games.
Decent lineup for the month, although there's a lot of better shooters than Star Soldier on the system. I know they've already added Gradius to the list, but Gradius II (only released on the Famicom) is a far better game, and it even surpasses Salamander/Life Force.
Also, there's Parodius, Gun Mac and Crisis Force. Star Soldier is just... bland.
Punch-Out is great, but input lag may be a big no-no. Mario 2 is cool, I used to like it a lot when I played All-Stars back in the day. Always felt like it was better than the original SMB (which I'm not a big fan, to be honest), but it's nothing stellar either.
It's a shame that the best Taxan game (GI-Joe: A Real American Hero) won't ever be re-released because licensing, just like we'll never see a TMNT game being added to the NES Online program.
One of the best games I've played last year. Yes, I played it on the PS4, but it's the same, in the end. This is an old school game, but it can easily be enjoyed by anyone. Arcade racers are a dying breed these days, but Horizon Chase Turbo reminds us of why this genre was so popular for more than a decade.

Re: Random: Boxing Legend Mike Tyson Seems To Think Nintendo Is Working On A New Punch-Out!!
A new Punch-Out game with Iron Mike would be awesome!

Re: Nintendo Adds Three New Games To The Switch Online NES Library This Month
@Gravitron there's no need for it: you can input a password to go straight to the last fight.
