@B-Locks You can play the entire game in 2d. The side missions where you revisit areas from DQ 1 through 10 are played in either 2d or 3d depending on the game. DQ 1 through 7 will be in 2D, 8 and 10 are in 3D. 9 is also in 2d. They basically let you revisit these games using their original (or remake) visuals. Edit: I guess you could consider 7 and 9 3D....
Something that has been bothering me about this site's DQ 11 coverage is the misinformation about the 3ds version. The 2d and 3d on both screens was a feature only present for the very beginning of the game. After that, you could choose to play in either 2d or 3d and switch whenever you were at a church. You did not play the whole game with both 2d and 3d on separate screens, only the very beginning.
The writer didn't bother doing much research here. The laws in Quebec requires that any product sold there be in french yes, but it doesn't need to be exclusively in french like this article makes it seen. Besides, Nintendo knew this and has always made business in Quebec. In fact, every Nintendo product in Canada is bilingual. Remember, the game doesn't need to be in French, just the box art. Nintendo chose to ignore Canada's second biggest market probably because they already know they won't have enough units. This article makes the province of Quebec sound like natzis while this is something Nintendo knows and has been doing for years. Sounds very weird that they would suddenly release a product in Canada in English only. Very poorly wrote article.
You can trade a Pokemon holding the garchompite stone from x and y to someone else and then have that person trade it back to you in oras. Thats what I did. I can help you do that if you want.
The Wii U game was actually quite enjoyable. Not a perfect game by any means but a game Id score around 7.0. Saying this franchise is becoming like Sonic is pushing it a bit far in my opinion. Now the 3ds version might not be good from the looks of it, although I head that the original 3ds version of ghostly adventures was fantastic.
