I use the eShop whenever possible. It's convenient and pretty much instant. Couple that with the fact that I don't have to travel with many cartridges and I call it a win. As for pricing, I am fine with it. I'm going to pay the same for digital or a physical copy and both have pros/cons. Also, for the people saying digital doesn't cost anything, I'm sure it costs something for nintendo to run servers to allow you to connect and download.
I spend about 3 months out of the year in Japan and beginning next year I'll live here (I'm currently in Japan). I often see games that I want but I don't buy them because I have a NA 3DS. Until I decide where I'll live permanently, I am not going to invest in a separate 3DS just to play JPN region coded games.
@Eryan64 This game has been out for quite awhile in Japan so if you go to YouTube you could easily see some footage. It's pretty straightforward though, if you like beat 'em ups then you'll probably like this. It also adds RPG elements (stats, armor, and abilities increase) and over 50 different characters to chose from. I've had mine pre-ordered since July.

Already had FE and was planning to get SMTIV so this is just icing on the cake. Thanks!
