@Minish-Cap lol I was thinking the same thing. But years ago I was a kid with 3 video games and not a ton of options so I think that was particularly motivating.
Honestly - I haven't experienced a ton of glitches. I absolutely loved this game as a kid and I took off a day of work to play it when it came out.
What I don't remember is how freaking FRUSTRATING it is just to play and I think I was spoiled by Odyssey.
Ok so you die, in a level. You get to go back to not just the beginning of the level, but the island where you entered.. To then have to go back into M warp thing, then select your level again, then try again. Repeat. then if you run out of lives, you're taken back to the center of the plaza.
Being taken back to the plaza after you run out of lives, whatever. It's annoying but I can deal. HAVING TO REENTER THE ENTIRE LEVEL INSTEAD OF BEING TAKEN BACK TO THE BEGINNING OF THE LEVEL IS INFURIATING!
How did I enjoy this game so much as a kid? But yes I will still absolutely be playing through the entire game because I love it as much as I hate it. I just play in 10-minute increments because my patience is so low. So I'll let you know how I like it in 10 years when I finish.
