@Kirgo I mean, this is a slippery slope argument. It's why they didn't have female options for a while: the logic was that women playing was such a small player base, and the few women playing those games could just imagine themselves playing as a guy. But once they included female options, it was clear that a large demographic of farming sims were actually women. Sure, nonbinary people could pick male or female and just play like that. That's what they're already doing because they don't have the option. But if you look at the download rates of nonbinary mods, and actually talk to nonbinary people who play games like Stardew, it's clear that they would prefer to be able to choose to be nonbinary in game.
