@Angelic_Lapras_King Actually Sonic Lost World for 3DS has online multiplayer racing and you can still find players online randomly today. Although it can take some minutes for one to show up. And that game isn't nearly as popular as Sonic Mania seems to be.
As far as this video, the countdown voice and goal voice are embarrassing. Glad it'll only be featured in the multiplayer and not the main game.
Why are so many people taking this as a sign that Nintendo is replacing the 3DS with the Switch? In the US, the regular New 3DS has always only been available in limited editions while the New 3DS XL is always available in normal editions in addition to limited editions. So saying they are ending production of the regular sized New 3DS is hardly significant. The 3DS will continue at least to the end of 2018, and possibly longer.
@yuwarite Actually I pre-ordered the Switch with the Breath of the Wild in January, the night of the reveal, so I already own both. And the idea of playing it in 4k without frame rate drops is very appealing. Not only that but using CEMU, you can back up your save file and have multiple save files easily, another feature lacking on the Switch.
This is fantastic news! We may actually be able to experience Breath of the Wild in full 4K without the abundant frame rate drops that both the Wii U and Switch versions are forever held back with by the end of the year! How exciting!
Because Skyward Sword's soundtrack is a huge disappointment when compared to past Zelda soundtracks like Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, etc. Compare Lanayru Desert's theme to Gerudo Valley, Ikana Canyon, or Dragon Roost Island for example. Being orchestrated doesn't help if the tracks themselves are that dull.
