Love teh graphics and music, as well as teh 8 way whip. The best feture of the whip in this one is the ability to swing with it I was a little dissapointed that dracula did not have a second form to fight.
I never played this when it was out the first time, always wanted to though. I was dissapointed by it. I don't know why, i guess that the gameplay was too simplistic. Which is wierd because I love Castlevania and Contra.
Jonno I I kow how you feel after downloading it I entered the code , and my wife was like you remeber that from that long ago! This game is awsome. i play this and Super C more than I do the actual WII games. Like most games of the erait is just plain fun.
The best Castelvania of all time. This game turned me on to nintendo after I saw a friends brother playing it. I just remebering it being harder when I was younger. The raft in 4-1, the Medusa heads, and worst of all the fight with Death, he was harder than Dracula! I was fustrated so bad with him it almost brought me to tears. Oh the age of classic games. CV4 was a retelling of CV1 I did not like Dracula not having a bat form on this one though.
This game is awsome. I remeber getting it and the first Castlevania for Christmas. I later got 3 for my birthday. I always loved the series. I even liked the later games Castelvania 64 and the first one on PS2 I have not played the other one though. SON is my choice for the second best. Almost every other title that has come out recently has copied it in gameplay as far as the castle bieng a maze and the RPG aspects. As much as I do like it it is my least fave in the series just because of all of searching.
