@Danrenfroe2016 reprojection is the use of information from past frames to render the current one. It's one component of TAA. It's a good thing that they'll let users disable it, as right now Fast Fusion isn't quite as colourful or sharp as Fast RMX, despite being a huge visual upgrade in all other areas. The previous game already ran well on switch, but on switch 2 it sticks to its maximum resolution, it's a good bit clearer, same with The Touryst, which I finally finished. I'll need to try the Punchuin next.
Just picked up my preorder. Grabbed a second unit while I was there. Nice to see inventory isn't an issue, most people didn't have a preorder. Looking forward to setting one up tonight and trying the updated games!
@KoopaTheGamer I remember even pushing the switch CPU/GPU clocks to their maximum (1785/921MHz) didn't eliminate performance drops. Better hardware can only help unoptimized software to a point. I honestly don't think background downloads are to blame for these hiccups.
