I have been casually browsing the isles at Target, Walmart, Gamestop, and Frys since the switch released and I have yet to see one for sale anywhere in Las Vegas. The stores typically have a small space set aside for the switch with 2 or 3 games for sale, but no hardware or demo to be seen. This is the first Nintendo system that I haven't been able to see in person at stores. So far for me the Switch only exists in hype and rumors.
I remember this being my first lesson in false advertising. I got one after seeing a Nintendo commercial including Mike Tyson's Punch out that showed what appeared to be "wii boxing like" motion controls as the child threw an uppercut with the glove that seemed to correspond to an uppercut thrown in the game. What a rip off. Eventually, after realizing that I was lied to, I cut the cord on this imposter with some scissors and left my improved wireless decoration sitting around to collect dust.
I picked this up at launch but stopped playing it after 20 minutes or so. Too much stress, fear and anxiety to qualify as fun for me. (work provides me with enough stress already) I switched to Mass Effect 3 and didn't look back. A much more rewarding gaming experience in my book. I ended up selling it for about $17.
Can't wait for this one. I won't watch this spoiler past the 1st minute though, I want to be surprised when I see the final product. (US version)
...I would like to see some DLC for Mass Effect 3 by now to hold us over. This Sci-Fi Space adventure was awesome and incorporates the Wii U gamepad perfectly.
Wii U please. Let's not forget the DS' big brother. I would definitely purchase it for the Wii U. It should include the option of saving your music to a flash drive. The ability to sample voice and sound bites would be cool.
