I’m not someone who cares / notices frame rates. But the lag on Switch makes it much more difficult than it should be to hit a decent shot. Which takes all the fun out of the game. I’ve returned the game. One of only a handful of titles I’ve ever returned, and I’ve been buying games since the 90s…

Downloaded it yesterday. It’s not essential, but it is a fun throwback to a bygone era. Also, kinda crazy that Namco released this a year AFTER Ridge Racer.

I picked up the physical Japanese release from Play Asia and have really enjoyed this one. It’s just the right kind of weird.

I thought I was taking crazy pills. The button mapping for Star Fox 64 makes no sense and isn’t explained at all. They haven’t even bothered to include scans of the manuals :

Worst looking game I’ve seen on the Switch. This looks NOTHING like the promo shots doing the rounds. It’s just a slab of single colour background and your tiny car. Which completely ruins the rally vibes. 3/10

It’s good, but Wonderboy in Monster World for the Mega Drive is still the best game in the series... That’s the one with the ocarina, FYI.
