I’m not someone who cares / notices frame rates. But the lag on Switch makes it much more difficult than it should be to hit a decent shot. Which takes all the fun out of the game. I’ve returned the game. One of only a handful of titles I’ve ever returned, and I’ve been buying games since the 90s…
Downloaded it yesterday. It’s not essential, but it is a fun throwback to a bygone era. Also, kinda crazy that Namco released this a year AFTER Ridge Racer.
I thought I was taking crazy pills. The button mapping for Star Fox 64 makes no sense and isn’t explained at all. They haven’t even bothered to include scans of the manuals :
Worst looking game I’ve seen on the Switch. This looks NOTHING like the promo shots doing the rounds. It’s just a slab of single colour background and your tiny car. Which completely ruins the rally vibes. 3/10

Re: Review: Radirgy Swag - Legwork Needed To Enjoy This Quirky Shmup
I picked up the physical Japanese release from Play Asia and have really enjoyed this one. It’s just the right kind of weird.

@60frames-please either this is a joke or you’re a very sad person.
Re: Soapbox: Retro Nintendo Games Cost Too Much, But Nostalgia Is Expensive
I haven’t sold a single game since the late 90s. I go out of my way to buy obscure, limited release titles. I am sitting on a potential gold mine
Re: Feature: Nintendo Life eShop Selects - August 2020
Is Hertzog Zwei only available for the Japanese eshop? And does it feature English text?
Re: Review: Stranded Sails - Explorers of the Cursed Islands - Fabulous Farming Stymied By Its Stamina System
Who cares about this cheap knock off? Where’s your Doreamon Story of Seasons review?
Re: Review: Away: Journey To The Unexpected - A Colourful Roguelike Plagued By Bad Design Choices
You know a game is a stinker when even Nintendo Life gives it a bad review 🥵
Re: Monster Boy And The Cursed Kingdom Appears To Be Getting A Switch Demo
@Future777 Haven’t gotten that far, i’m currently doing the frog bit. But I still think
Monster World has more charm
Re: Monster Boy And The Cursed Kingdom Appears To Be Getting A Switch Demo
It’s good, but Wonderboy in Monster World for the Mega Drive is still the best game in the series... That’s the one with the ocarina, FYI.

@jhewitt3476 do you always make wilfully ignorant comments?
