There is some misinformation on this page I'd like to clear up. This is NOT the original Vs.Excitebike. Tho the "Original Excite" mode is the 1984 Stand-up arcade game of the same name. This was released in 1988 in Japan for the Famicom disc system. The NES Excitebike version was a 1985 remake/clone of the original 7 track VS.Excitebike that was in arcades. This is a copy of the original arcade cab and BEST version of VS Excitebike. The regular NES excitebike is a poor imitation and not nearly as fun as the original Arcade game.
