EON (who own the rights to the Bond franchise) are no doubt being a stick in the mud in regards to this. I’ve had dealings with them in the past and they are notoriously protective of the brand. Understandable in some ways, but very frustrating in others. I ploughed more hours into the original N64 Goldeneye than any other game on that console. Like so many others that were lucky enough to experience it at that time, both the single and multiplayer elements were revolutionary at the time. Those were the good ol’ days for sure. We got spoilt rotten back then. A Lylat Wars (Star Fox 64) remake would be amazing. Let’s hope Nintendo come up with the goods on that one day...
