@SmithJurd I think it is not important to be known Developer in order to pull off a cool game. In the end it all comes down just to the budget. This is what had us limited in the past in the first place and we hope to finally overcome this issue with Kickstarter. Our campaign page is well done and easy to understand for everybody. It is important to note that it is not so much about the TV series. It is about a Game. We took the series and the licence because the series content fits perfectly as a (retro) game. We are fans of the anime series of course but we would not use this IP if it would not fit.
@X5900 How do you know that the licence was 25k? Your wrong We are doing no Shovel Knight and no we dont "just go retro" like Shovel Knight. What we are doing now was the initial idea from 2004 when we experimented on the GBA and DS.
The reason why we have added real classic platforms is because there are many people who are interested in this. Similar project have raised a lot of money just for the classic platforms, no PC version or modern consoles involved. Also when we say we do real 80s stuff then we do real 80s stuff
It is true that we are on this project for a long time. The main problem was always the money. This is something we can fix with Kickstarter. If you have any questions, let me know. Also @NintendoLife, we can do an interview if you like.

@SmithJurd basically every licenced Nintendo developer can do his own amiibo. Of course Nintendo has to approve them.
