I got another story to tell. About its sequel; The Thousand-Year Door.
I played this game about 7 times. But after I got back to the UK, and after I beated this on the Virtual Console for about 4 times, I decide yet again to go to Entertainment Exchange in Maidstone. I picked up the sequel which is my first ever GCN title, The Thousand-Year Door. I was playing that awesome game on the GCN and going through out it until I was stuck in some parts of the game. No guys, I'm not relating that to the Super Paper Mario puzzles, I'm saying that I got stuck in some parts of Paper Mario: TTYD. For an example: do you know about that you need to roll and squeeze through that thing in the X-Naut Fortress? Yeah that. THAT was the difficult segment/part of that game. Anyway, onto my story, I finally got to the hardest (but funnest) Shadow Queen final boss. I was doing pretty good and BEATEN! There you go, The Thousand-Year Door finally done!
I do know Super Paper Mario didn't really live up to the original two. Don't give me wrong, I know that I love that game. But it probably didn't even live up anyways. It was also way too easy to beat. Well... the only hard thing I found in Super Paper Mario was the Flipside and Flopside Pit of 100 Trials challenges (which was extremely challenging and difficult).
Okay, that's my story for this and TTYD. I maybe want to come back and do this game again. I haven't played it for ages and ages since I'm doing TTYD at the moment. This, TTYD and SPM are fantastic games and they always still will be.
This game was really that good. I enjoyed the whole adventure.
Sorry about my reply that said "IT'S GREAT." to luigiman2. I guess that it's only that person's opinion. Sorry.
Anyway, my proper comment on this truly amazing N64 game, let's start. The first time I tried this game out was on the Project64 emulator (not really good) back in 2008 after I watched all about I think 86 videos from whatever that person's called again on YouTube. After that I decide I want to load up the Project64 emulator and give my first try on this game. Yes folks, I never played this game before in the past when I was a kid (I'm 14). And then another thing is that I wanted to get back to the UK to get my first ever Nintendo Wii console. I waited about 10 days to get my Internet connection up and running again. And then I finally got the game with PERFECT emulation. I also looked up on the Nintendo Channel to see my Game-Play Record. I think it said I played about probably 78 times.
So there you go, that was my story when I gave this game my first try on the stinkin' Project64 emulator. I'm never touching that horrible emulator on the PC again. What a waste.
The best Sonic in the series by far. It's way better than Sonic 3 IMO. Better graphics and more levels (total of 11 levels).
It would be good if I like to see this game in HD. Ah man, I only wish I had Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (AKA: Sega Megadrive Ultimate Collection) for the PS3.
Ah, the nostalgia. This is where the blue blur starts his career on this first and his Sega Genesis game, Sonic the Hedgehog.
I got this on the VC long ago, I think in November 2008 when I first got a Wii console. It's a good game, but not as good as the superior Super Mario Bros. on NES. That game rocked.
EDIT: It seems I can't play this game on the VC via component lead. I can't seem to fix this problem at all. I might need to get Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for the PS3.
EDIT 2: Okay, maybe I'm wrong. But I'll need to wait for Nintendo to fix the problem with the cable issue. I already know there is a VC Forums website and the topic shown here. --> [Link]
Ah well. I guess most people aren't interested in Crash Bandicoot. To be honest, I was a big Crash fan before in the past. But now I'm not for some reason. I do know Mario's more interesting than Crash.
The idea I liked about this game was the Mojo collecting to get all of those awesome upgrades for Crash. The graphics are clean and crisp, the story is good, and the controls worked perfectly. I wonder what Sierra are doing to make another Crash Bandicoot game?
Is is me or are the mutants look ugly in this game? I also never played Crash: Mind over Mutant. It looks alot like this game. But I'm not quite sure yet. Well then, I better go. I might gonna post comments on good old retro games like Mario or Zelda. Just a shame why nobody's commenting on this great game. Sure people doesn't discover this game. But they just don't. As always... LATER.
I agree with all of those who says this is the true one in the series, including CodyRBurns and StarDust.
I really liked the style of the gameplay in this better than the original. The dialogue was well written and the story was brilliant. What are the things I hated in this game? One thing: Music. It probably is not as good as the songs in the original Paper Mario (which was quite excellent though).
I still prefer Mario games over Sonic games most of the time. Mario games are perfect all the way, while Sonic games aren't that perfect. Mario games are by far the best in the series, with no flaws and perfect 2D platformers.
It still will be the greatest Wii game. Dragoon is certainly right. Can't wait to try out Mario Galaxy 2.
I'm sorry to all of those who gives this a non 10/10 score. For me, this definitely deserves a perfect 10/10. I am a huge fan of the Super Mario Bros. games, from old to new in every single way.

Re: Streets of Rage 2
The best one in the series by far. Better combat system and soundtrack.
Re: Streets of Rage
Not as good as the 2nd or 3rd Streets of Rage game. But still a good game. Personally, I would give it a 7/10.
Re: Super Mario Kart
Dang, I got Streets of Rage 2 over this. Perhaps another week if I'll get this game.
Re: Review: Super Smash Bros. (Virtual Console / Nintendo 64)
I also did edit my first comment on this review. Because my other one was just rubbish.
Re: Review: Super Smash Bros. (Virtual Console / Nintendo 64)
I might want to do this game again. I already finished it ages ago in June 2009.
It's really hard to choose the score for me. Maybe an 8/10 would be fair.
Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd April 2010 (Europe)
I'm probably going to get Super Mario Kart, along with Streets of Rage 2.
Re: Virtual Console Confirmed for DSiWare
What a joke article.
Re: Review: Sonic & Knuckles (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
Very good Sonic game.
Re: Review: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
My most favorite is Sonic 2.
Re: Review: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
My favorite Sonic of all time! WAY better than Sonic 3!
Re: Review: Sonic the Hedgehog (Virtual Console / Sega Mega Drive)
Still a good Sonic game, but not as good as 2 or 3.
Re: Sonic Classic Collection
No thank you. I already own the VC releases.
Re: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Still no VC release for this game yet? What a shame.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
What wiiplayer26 said, get a Wii, a points card (1000), and THEN download the game, there you go.
Re: Super Mario Kart
The release for Europe has finally announced. I better get a Wii points card fast or I might lose a Mushroom on the track.
Re: Super Mario Kart Races to Europe on Friday
About time Nintendo announced the release for Europe.
Re: Review: Axelay (Virtual Console / Super Nintendo)
@7 and 8 It's pretty obvious why.
Re: Review: Paper Mario (Virtual Console / Nintendo 64)
Still the greatest Paper Mario game on the N64. Definitely worth and a steal for 1000 points.
100% agreed with this review. It definitely deserves a 10/10, there are hardly no flaws at all. None of them. As what any person says: perfection.

But still the game rules.
Re: New Super Mario Bros. Wii
And like I said before, the game is NOT short and easy.
Re: Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1
Sega must really get back to 2D platforming with Sonic. This will be a must have for all the 2D Sonic fans out there.
Re: Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Not as good as Sonic 2 (to me), but it is a great Sonic game. Nothing else to say, really.

Great review as always, Trevor.
Re: Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
Hyper Knuckles: No review on this awesome game? What a shame!
It will sometime in the future. You'll see.
Re: Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
I have this and it's definitely the greatest 3D Sonic game on Dreamcast/GCN.
Re: Super Mario Bros. 3
Anyway, the good thing is..... I actually gone through ALL of the levels without any whistles! Talk about no life. LOL.
Re: Super Mario Bros. 3
To all of those who thinks this has PAL issues, the game does NOT have PAL conversion problems. NONE of them. Runs perfectly.
Re: Super Mario Bros.
A very good classic for all of those who are a Mario fan like me. Well worth 500 Wii points.
Re: Review: Donkey Kong (NES)
I rather go for the arcade version since that has right colors. Along with Mario Bros..
Re: Review: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GameCube)
I need to redo this game. I beat it a LONG time ago.
Re: Review: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GameCube)
I give it a 9.7/10.
Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2

That is why Nintendo OWNS!!!
Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2
There is one small reason why I want this game...is because I want to see those Hammer Bros. in 3D!
Re: Super Mario 64 DS
I really didn't like the way this game was screwed up by the controls.
Re: New Super Mario Bros Wii (Wii) Super Skills Trailer
LongTheHegdehog: Hey,luigiman2. What is a NSMB?
New Super Mario Bros..
Re: Sonic & Knuckles
I'm glad this game is finally out after a 2 year wait.
I got this game on 08 March. Did not get this on the day it was out in Europe because my Internet connection was lost. But at least I have the game.
Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. (DS)
luigirules: It deserves a 10.
I give this game a 9.5/10, while I give the superior Wii version a perfect 10/10.
Re: New Super Mario Bros. Challenge Mode
That is why they HAVE to make the Mario games hard.
And it's a shame this article doesn't have any comments posted, while it's just me right here.
Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii)
It still will be the greatest Wii game. Dragoon is certainly right. Can't wait to try out Mario Galaxy 2.

Re: Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing
Got this game yesterday. Definitely really good.
For me: 8.8/10
Re: More Super Mario Galaxy 2 Footage
I notice that the flag makes its return in the game from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2
Hopefully it will have more levels and multiplayer.
Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2 Hits May 23
Can't wait!
Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2
It simply will be the best sequel to the first. The ending in the first Galaxy game was absolutely brilliant.
Re: Sonic & Knuckles
@Ristar42 I'm gonna be getting this on VC. I don't really care if it's in 50Hz or not.
Re: New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Mario never gets boring, in 2D form.
EDIT: Okay, what I originally said, only when you have one of your friends to play. Single player's just not good enough...
