Re: "The Delays Have Been Unacceptable" - The Wait Continues For Rock It Games' Croc Physical

@Yosher That's fair. I'm not exactly a fan of generative AI either with all the issues it has caused.
I did also check when Argonaut had posted that one AI pic and found it was posted all the way back in December 9th 2024. Like I said earlier, they did get criticism for it and have since then never posted an AI pic, so I think it's safe to say that Argonaut listened and changed their ways for the better after that, unlike Microsoft and other companies who continue to be pushing AI.

@Yosher What about the other franchises that you like which are in a much worse spot in regards to the people behind them being for AI?
I remember you saying before that you like Spyro, and there are rumours with strong evidence that Toys for Bob is working on a new Spyro game in partnership with Microsoft, looking to be announced and possibly released this year.
Are you gonna avoid buying that game as well, considering how heavily pro-AI Microsoft are?
What Argonaut did a while back is a far cry from what Microsoft have been doing, and continue to do in regards to AI.

@Yosher Isn't that a rather petty reason though? I remember seeing that particular tweet myself a while back, and it was literally only one AI pic that they did. They did get criticism for it, but since then Argonaut haven't posted any AI pics to their socials whatsoever (I've been following them since the rebirth of the company). So it looks like they have listened to the feedback and changed their ways for the better.
You're honestly missing out if you're just gonna let that one incident make you lose interest in the Croc remaster, especially with all the improvements and additions that got put into it. With the Platinum Edition update for the Croc remaster, they even got achievements for the game on the Switch release!

@RadioHedgeFund @squidduforeal The bashing on the Croc remaster is just pathetic, and the idea that only the good games should be revitalised and that the bad games should be left "in the past where they belong" is just closed-mindedness.

The great thing about developers revisiting sub-par games is that it gives them a chance to rectify the flaws of the original release, and this is exactly what is happening with the Croc remaster.
The team behind the Croc remaster have already revealed on their socials that the new Croc now has full analog controls, improved camera, and other QoL improvements such as 60fps and the bosses now having health bars.
I myself, was one of the folks rooting for a comeback of Croc, because I saw that Croc still had some potential providing that the developers resolve the flaws of the original release, and that is exactly what they are doing.

If you don't like certain games then that's fine, but you shouldn't push it upon others like it's universal facts, when it's just opinions on a video game.

Also @squidduforeal most people consider the music of Croc to be great; one of the strongest things about Croc. So please don't imply that the music of Croc is objectively mediocre when even people who aren't a fan of Croc agree that Croc's OST is fantastic.
