Looks fine to have an Arkanoid game on wii, but will be the control good enough? After playing Bit Trip Beat, I think that's the way to go, because the control is the best to move an arkanoid-like paddle...
I am getting dizzy only looking at the video!!! I think I will get it, because I love this super-hard games that bring me memories from other times, when finishing a game was waaaaay harder than "I save, I die, I load, I die, I load, I pass the level... and so on).
Didn't try the N64 version, but I owned Pilotwings for the SNES and I loved it! It was easy to advance levels in the game, but it was hard to master the different categories available, and I find that a very important thing in any kind of game. Moreover, it was one of the most playable games of 16 bits times, imo.
And by the way, this game has no relationship with Kid Icarus (only the ancient greek environment, which has been perfectly developed). One of the best things of this game is the great and intelligent use that has been given to the wiimote, unlike many other wii games. A wise combination between nunchuck and wiimote is essential to advance through the game...
