I agree that it's crazy how old New Horizons is, but I thought this was a family friendly brand(Especially seeing as how it revolves around Nintendo). The article is ok, but was the title necessary? Looks like I need to start monetizing this pages content from my kids.
I can't even see why a game this day and age is getting scolded for imitating fun. That's like me telling anyone that is younger than me "Hey, you are breathing air, and that's copying me because I did it first so stop it." Fun is a formula, and not a crime to make a fun game. Platforming is a genre.Mario doesn't own the mechanics of the genre.
I think the only opinion that matters is my own, and everyone else's is a just a waste of air. Everyone should have that same perspective. People need to stop letting the personal feelings of other creatures in their shared species bother them so much. I think the game is amazing, regardless of what you've played in the past.
It crashes when trying to join or leave multiplayer lobbies. Not every time, but it has happened to me twice. The second time I received an error code that isn't even in Nintendo's data base: 2-BG53A-0000. Hopefully the Switch version gets some performance patches. But other than that it's a lovely experience. More smooth than the other versions, and loaded with goodies.
@Teksetter you are spot on. This game deserves way higher than a 5. They did really well transitioning this from a mobile game. There is so much content for ten bucks. And the game gets better the longer you play it seeing as how you unlock more features. Half of them they didn't even mention in the review.
This is truly an incredible game that keeps giving back, and gets better the longer that you play. It's a spinoff of a spinoff. MS Attack was a remake of 2014's MS Defense. This has the best of both of those mobile games. $10 is a steal for the amount of playtime is in this game. It isn't for everyone because there is grinding.

@Roz1281 It's an awesome enhanced version, but "best day of my life" is setting the bar a little low for yourself, lol
