Edit: Yeah... the thing where while you are customizing the darn thing, the inputs are still being read by the console is an instant deal breaker. Hopefully they fix that in an update.
I have some 200cc cups in MK8D to get 3 stars on, still (the Booster Course Pass is a BEAST). After that, perhaps some more Mario Wonder and Kirby RtDl: Merry Magoland.
THIS! THIS is the reason I was overjoyed that the last movie had its own continuity and started fresh. That version of Ash is already miles better in terms of consistency, training and goal achievement.
