I really, really don't care whether Nintendo does or not. This is an old account I don't use anymore. I simply saw the article and thought I'd throw in my two cents on the matter. Last I checked that's allowed on the internet, or maybe you'd prefer a huge echochamber where everyone continues bootlicking the mega corporation.

No one is saying Nintendo isn't within their right to do this, so I'm not sure why everyone always jumps to this tired defense of a mega corporation.

What people are saying is that maybe if Nintendo made legacy content available on modern platforms people would be less inclined to pirate. Nintendo loves to cry and whine about how much piracy hurts them and how evil it is, yet don't do the most basic solution that could easily start improving it by just you know, making the damn games available to purchase. People want to buy them. There's just no option.

But sure, pretend that getting rid of a single site out of the hundreds will solve this. What an out of touch company lol.
